I came in and made an appointment to get my car looked at. I was given a time that it would be seen, and dropped my car off the evening before my appointment so it would be there first thing. I was told they would diagnose the issue and call me, by Tuesday evening I still hadn’t heard a thing, so I called and was told the mechanic had training and didn’t get a chance to look at it. I was thinking if you knew your mechanic had training then why did you schedule my car to be there but ok. Wednesday I didn’t here anything so I stopped by on my way home and was told the mechanic was really busy and couldn’t get to my car which seemed odd because I had an appointment for 8 Tuesday! I was assured, in fact promised my car would be the first one in Thursday morning. I heard nothing Thursday. Friday morning I stopped by on my way to my job and was told they still didn’t have time to look at my car. I left disappointed and frustrated and had to just pick my car up and now I’m trying to get it in somewhere else. The service dept could learn a lot from Paul in sales. He is honest and up front with people.

Had a noise in my truck a grunt noise that y’all can not pin point. Have a problem with truck fluttering and a bad part that won’t be replaced even though it’s under warranty, but they say there was a bulletin on the part the engineers are working on since June of 2023. I’v always tried to buy Chevy, but now I’m not sure if I’ll buy another Chevy. Not the same trucks or Custer service as they once were.

My experience was horrible. I took my car in on May 16 for an oil change. I was told there was a rear main seal leak. The service was scheduled for May 22 and I was told it was a 15 hour service. I did not receive my car back until June 23. I was given an electric car (my car is a gas engine) to drive and charging was not optimal. The vehicle was disgustingly filthy on the inside. The original problem noted was not the actual problem, and it was misdiagnosed twice, unnecessary parts changed out due to human negligence and parts being broken in the process. I was not communicated with--the only information given was from calls I had to make to the dealership. They had to replace the galley plug twice because they stripped it and then cross-threaded it. They then found the true leak around the crankshaft seal and replaced that on Monday, June 16. I was to take possession of my car on June 17. Upon arrival, I sat at the dealership for 1.5 hours just to leave in another loaner car as when I started my car to leave, the engine light came on along with multiple errors on my screen. I then found out the next day that they had broken a pin in the wiring harness when working on my car--yet another human error. I was lied to multiple times by the service department, service manager, and then also by the general manager. I have never experienced such poor workmanship and customer service in my life. I will never take my car back to Rhodes Chevrolet for them to work on. Through all of this, I received a coffee cup and an apology note for all of my inconvenience--mind you they had my car for a month due to ignorance on the part of the dealership.

Charged me $200 to hook it up to a code reader just to tell me that they don't make the part anymore and can't fix it. I have a code reader that I bought from O'Reilly's for $50 that gave me the same codes the dealer found before I brought it in (hence why I took it in to be fixed). Out $200 dollars with no corrective action. It's ridiculous that these service dealerships charge you to simply hook it up to a code reader and have a computer spit a code out. Also, the upper vent was blowing when I brought it in. I picked it up with both the fan cranked all the way up, the cold all the way down, and the blower on upper vent (but no air was coming out of the upper vent). Not satisfied. With all that said, the employees that I dealt with were friendly and helpful.

The service I have received at Rhodes Chevrolet has been nothing short of horrible. My car went in for an oil change on May 16. From May 22 to Sept 23, I had to return my car to Rhodes for a total of 71 days out of service for some sort of repair. I would never take a car to them for any work.

The manager on duty was professional. She explained things well and was able to get me a video of the inspection. First one received this printouts stopped. She did say the battery in my key fob would be replaced for free but I don't think the tech did that because the fob must really close to unlock door. Also, the tech in the video referenced the cabin filter how it was just thrown in. That filter was installed at rhodes.

Please read the GM survey we finished online. Jim and Robert exceeded all our expectations to work with old people and the modern difficulties of wireless and screen run systems. The loss of providing the owners manual booklet to people who can still read and making everything mulit tasking endeavors like a simple home link garage and gate button on the overhead instead of burying it in a computer screen is unbelievably idiotic. The GM Rewards program has gotten to be more trouble than it is worth since Barclays have taken it over. We had used our GM Rewards program since 1994 and bought many GM vehicles using this perk. This latest experience with the conversion from Goldman Sachs Marcus to Barclays points system has been very difficult to redeemed. Also the need for taxing authorities to get the GM program rebates shown as actual line credits "before" the "cash on delivery" line on the dealer contract so out of state buyers do not have to involve the DMV and the State Revenue Departments over the rebates included in the cash on delivery price and thus being taxed. Thanks.

My experience at Rhodes Chevrolet was comfortable and high quality from start to finish. I found a vehicle online and drove to the dealership in Van Buren, AR to find out more information about it. Upon entering the dealership, I was promptly greeted by Michael Fowler. I explained which vehicle I was interested in and we went to his desk to see what information he could provide. We went through the CarFax report, recent service visits, and how the vehicle had been used as a loaner for the service department. Satisfied with the history and condition of the vehicle, I asked about price and extending the bumper to bumper warranty. Then, I met with Robert Morphew and we went over the sales price and warranty packages available. He was not pushy and helped me get more warranty than I was expecting (80k vs. 60k miles). I appreciated that the sales price was the final price - there were no hidden document or delivery fees. I provided my pre-approval from Bank of America and desired down payment. He stated that he could do better for the interest rate and payment with some information from me. I agreed and went back to Michael to give him the information for the credit application. Afterward I wanted to set up a time to bring my wife to see the vehicle the next day, Saturday. Instead, they offered for me to take it home for an extended test drive. I was shocked and amazed. I had only been at the dealership for 30-45 minutes and had never been there before, but within about 15 minutes they had the vehicle ready to go with a full tank of fuel, temporary plate on it, and showed me where to park my vehicle overnight. After a quick tutorial on the vehicle with Michael, I headed out on my test drive to home, about 40 miles away. The next day after taking the vehicle out to run some errands, checking out its features, and looking at it with my wife and children, my wife and I drove it back to the dealership in Van Buren, AR. Michael called before we got there and requested some additional income information for the credit application. I emailed him and Robert that information, so when we arrived, financing was already approved. We were very pleased with the vehicle and the opportunity for the extended time to drive it several times and look at it at home, so we were ready to proceed with the purchase. Michael and Robert helped us navigate signing all the paperwork while the service department checked out the vehicle one last time and removed the window stickers. It was clearly explained when our registration paperwork would be mailed to us. Next, Robert sat in the vehicle with us and gave a thorough tutorial on the operation of the touchscreen and buttons. I was pleased to learn the vehicle purchase also came with 4 complementary oil changes. He went through the operation of the various features and called OnStar so we could active our account and access the vehicle on the My Chevrolet app. During this time, he opened the sunroof (which I thought was only a moonroof) and it would not close. After repeated attempts to close it, he drove to the service department. As it was after lunch, no technicians were available, so Robert found another employee from the sales department and they pushed down the air dam so the sunroof would close. He said he would help us Monday morning to set up an appointment to fix the issue. With everything settled and a new temporary tag on the vehicle, we departed the dealership with our new vehicle. On Monday, Robert helped us set up an appointment with the service department for Thursday. Thursday, I took the vehicle to the service department at 8:00am and was very pleased with the prompt check-in and nice waiting area - where I was able to work on my laptop, use the wifi, and attend a virtual meeting while I waited. During the appointment, a technician asked if I knew the backup camera was off. I stated it had shown all-black a few times over the weekend. They asked for permission to work on the backup camera while I was here. I said yes and was glad they asked because I had forgot to mention it when I checked in the vehicle. They then quickly fixed the sunroof issue and found the camera module needed to be replaced. The camera part was ordered, they stated they would call when it came in, and my vehicle was delivered to me out front. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the experience at Rhodes Chevrolet. It was comfortable, right-paced, trustworthy, and customer-oriented. Thank you for all you do!

BAD EXPERIENCE! I have purchased several vehicles from Rhodes Chev., always returned for service on these vehicles. Service was good until 02-12-26. Service personnel were not truthful about cost of parts, labor charges and final cost to my bill. I believe it was inflated for more than what I received. Therefore I will NOT do business with Rhodes Chev. again , nor will my family. Service is where you make more profit and keep customers coming back. You have lost my business. 3% charge for using credit card without notification was just another way to gouge the customer.

Received a call at 3:30 pm that it was finally ready for pickup. Previous visit was scheduled at 8:00 am for only an oil change and waited 3 hours before it was ready.
